Caterpillar online safety training features Spanish-language modules

Furthering its goal of Safely home-Everyone-Every day, Caterpillar's two-year-old safety.cat.com offers more than 200 online training modules — many in both English and Spanish. Online Spanish-language modules are grouped into five categories, including Construction, Mining and Heavy Equipment; Driver Safety; Environmental; General Safety; OSHA Essentials; and, Supervisory Safety. Among 70 courses available under these headings are “Aerial-Lifts for Construction”; “Hand- and Power-Tool Safety”; “Defensive Driving - Large Vehicles”; “Hearing Conservation”; “Confined-Space Hazards”; “Fall Protection”; and, “OSHA 10-Hour for Construction.” Course duration ranges from 20 minutes to more than two hours.
